We had an entire week off of school because of snow. It was lovely. Of course, half of the time there was hardly any snow on the ground because it would melt off in the afternoon. But, one of the people from our school lives up on hill and invited us to come and sled in her ELEVEN inches of snow! I jumped on that opportunity and we had clear roads the whole way there. Sweetie got to hang out with her best friend B. Baby Dragon didn’t have any of her girlfriends from school to hang out with, so she ended up helping the kindergarteners.
The other moms called Baby Dragon the Pied Piper because all the little kids followed her around.
Baby Dragon is making snow chairs for the girls. She made an entire layout of a house for the kids. She said that she liked playing with them because she felt needed and useful. They kept asking her to make something new for them.
Captain Adorable loved sledding down the hill.
He had the most friends to hang out with.
This older boy, A, got smashed by this preschooler.
Baby Dragon goes down the hill.
T got some air on the jumps.
B shook the snow out of the tree branch over Sweetie.
Baby Dragon is getting more snow for building a ramp.
Sweetie made B into a snow turtle.
Some of the moms helped build a few snowmen.
Captain Adorable made a snow seat.
I made Baby Dragon pose for me.
I love this tough guy pose the boys pulled for me.
Some of the older kids and moms started sledding down these steep stairs.
See how steep it looks from up top?
I actually did it once. As I was poised at the top Captain Adorable was telling me not to do it it. He said it was stupid and not safe. But once I did it, he wanted to give it a try. He ended up lightly bonking his head on a rail, so he was right. He wasn’t that hurt.
It was a fun day with friends.
