Captain Adorable and Sweetie decided to dress up for our next party. Sweetie went a little darker than Snow White this time. Captain Adorable always looks gallant in his knight costume.
Technically these kids are supposed to be upstairs, but they snuck down a couple times to get some food and spy on the fun games we were playing. Baby Dragon was babysitting for one of our friends so they could come to the party.
We played Humannequins and it was hilarious. We had to guess what word was being portrayed.
Matrix movie and a haunted house.
Nosepicking… this wasn’t actually their word, they just wanted to have fun with it!
I don’t even remember what this one was, horseback riding?
Here is a good view of Handsome Husband’s jetpack that he made for his costume. He put it together with a bunch of scrap things and he spray painted it black. Someone accidentally bumped into it and it got ruined, but it was fun while it lasted. They are doing “rodeo.”
It is great to see our friends having so much fun together.
I am always so impressed with everyone’s creativity when they come in costume.
Everyone’s fantasy is Elsa getting together with Jack Frost. We were all fascinated with his icy contacts.
A bee and her keeper. He had his phone in his pants pocket, so she was reaching to get it. Jokes ensued.
Then the boys decided to swarm him with a bee attack.
Very classy vampires.
It was the joke that these two were constantly making out at our party, so we recorded it for posterity.
Bob Ross and his work of art. I love the double stuff Oreos!
My friend K was so happy that her husband was excited to dress up like Star Lord so she happily dressed as Gamora. She said that it was funny because he wanted all sorts of credit for dressing up and she was like, “Um, I painted my face GREEN!” He usually is very reluctant and usually doesn’t like going all out for Halloween.
My friends are so funny. J stuffed her face with munchies.
The boys squished J.
These two get points for dressing up too!
I love the classic Where’s Waldo and Where’s Wanda. So cute.
Catniss and Peta.
This year we loved dressing up in Steampunk. We got best overall costumes again. I actually styled my wig and I liked it much better this time. And last time I had completely forgotten my belt pouch, so I was happy to get to add it to my costume this time.
