We started off the Halloween season early with our annual girly Witchy Party with my Aunt Abra. I hosted this year since Abra’s house is on the market. Abra invited her make up artist friend to come over and do everyone’s makeup! The girls were very excited.
Sweetie LOVED her makeup. She’s so pretty!
Seriously, she couldn’t stop looking at herself. The makeup artist said that that was a big compliment to her work.
Abra dances with my little cousin G. Abra is dressed as a 1950’s housewife witch.
The lovely witch in the cobweb hat is my aunt J. G is her granddaughter.
Abra brought sparkly string to put in our hair and she brought a little candy bar for the kids to enjoy.
Most of these decorations are mine, but Abra is the queen of decorations and she brought a few extras to spice it up more (like that adorable BOO flag). Those brown potion bottles are last year’s witchy party craft.
I have been collecting and adding to my Halloween decorations for a few years and I am pretty happy with them at this point.
This is Abra’s Aunt trying a jelly bean from the Bean Boozled game. Looks like she got a gross one.
R and her daughter, A, with L. The costumes this year are so great!
We had tasty Mexican soups this year. Baby Dragon gets her makeup dark and moody.
Our littlest witch E.
M and E. Isn’t E so darling? I love her smile.
J is the proud grandma.
Baby Dragon was super excited to put these massive nails on. She could hardly function, but she felt super spooky.
Since I was hosting, I got to invite Jeana and Gabby to join in on the witchy fun!
Little witches played some Harry Potter music to help set the mood.
This is a special caramel apple dipping station.
Gabby enjoys the candy bar.
Abra decided that we must have a dance party. We had some very willing participants and some more reluctant ones.
But it was great fun for those who joined in.
The most popular song that got every dancing was “Single Ladies” by Beyonce. Abra is the life of the party.
Abra insisted on catching a few pictures of me at the party. Sweetie photobombed.
Abra brought jars for everyone to make luminaries, but the leaves wouldn’t Mod Podge on, they were too thick. So everyone got creative and Mod Podged some festive napkins she had brought instead.
I loved seeing everyone laughing and having a great time in my new white kitchen.
Cute little E.
Baby Dragon was bribed with a money to follow this little fellow around for a while.
Then we all played a game of Bean Boozled. Everyone thought it was hilarious when someone got a gross jelly bean. Well, everyone but the person who had it in their mouth.
We pulled out the trash can for people to spit out yucky jelly beans in.
The young kids got to choose who had to try their luck at getting a tasty jelly bean or a yucky one.
I got a vomit flavored one. GROSS!
Not my favorite game ever.
The little girls loved playing the game.
Abra is modeling the gummy boogers. She looks so classy doing it.
Here is our Slytherin house witch.
Such a great group of witches!
I really only see some of these ladies a couple of times a year at Abra’s parties. It is fun to watch them grow up.
Abra and her mom L. Thanks to them for organizing everything. They brought the party with them. I just needed to have the house cleaned, they organized the food, the games and the crafts. Easiest party I ever hosted!
I got a picture with Baby Dragon, Sweetie was done by this time. It is fun to share this fun tradition with my girls.
