Captain Adorable is pretty much the cutest cub scout I have ever seen. He is a wolf and I have been called to be his leader. He loves having me as a leader.
The Cub Scout salute and the Cub Scout sign. I have learned quite a bit since I am his leader. I would not have taken the time to learn about Cub Scouts if I hadn’t been called. I had every intention of handing Handsome Husband the scout book and telling him to bond with Captain Adorable and help him get his badges. Now, I am glad I get to be part of Captain Adorable’s scouting experience. It is so fun to see how much he enjoys the activities.
I organized this service project. The boys are putting positive messages on 2X4s that will be put into homes built by Habitat for Humanity.
I have a great co-leader. We worked together in Young Women and are super happy to work together again in Cub Scouts.
In addition to decorating the 2X4s, we assembled snacks for the volunteers who help to build the homes.
This is a pilot program with Habitat for Humanity and we were excited to get to participate. We want to continue serving through them.
The boys did such a good job. We usually have one more boy at our den meetings, but he wasn’t there that day.
