Handprint

The day before Captain Adorable was born, I had the girls make stepping stone handprints. I didn’t mean for it to happen the DAY before he was born, but it did. I haven’t ever gotten around to making one with Captain Adorable and I felt like it was too late because he is older than both girls were when they made theirs. But one day Captain Adorable said, “Mom, do you know what makes me sad? It’s that my sisters have handprint stones and I don’t.” Poor boy. Luckily, he timed that pitiable comment right before his birthday. So he received a handprint stepping stone kit as a gift. He LOVED it.

He had fun choosing the best glass pieces.

Sweetie helped him place a few of them.

He was particular about where he wanted things placed.

We made sure to push the glass in nice and deep so they wouldn’t pop out over time. Baby Dragon’s stone has only one piece of glass left in hers. I think Captain Adorable’s are safe. He is┬ávery happy to be represented in our garden now.
