Our next stop was the Heceta Head Lighthouse. I love that bridge.
The kids pretended to “work” on the log. They found lots of stones and pounded away at the log.
D threw a football with Captain Adorable.
Captain Adorable likes to play in the sand.
Baby Dragon is taking good care of her Baby Jack.
We went to explore the rocks and caves.
J surprised Baby Dragon with a crab claw.
I was glad I wasn’t the only one toting a big camera around. T was excited to get a chance to wear her jeans, she doesn’t get many chances in the Bahamas.
J is a regular Spider-Man.
All the kids loved climbing on the rocks and they got pretty high.
It was a gorgeous day.
Those ridges totally reminded me of Hawaii.
It made me happy seeing D and Handsome Husband interact. It is hard if your spouse doesn’t get along well with your friend’s spouse. Luckily, that wasn’t a problem for these two.
J was trying to get me with a sneak attack.
J found a dead crab and he wasn’t afraid to pick it up. He probably finds all sorts of sea treasures like this back home.
Sweetie was brave, too.
When Captain Adorable and I were in this cave he said it felt like we were going back in time.
After playing at the beach we walked up to the lighthouse. I didn’t get a picture of the outside.
But we went inside it for a little tour.
Here is the view looking up. They wouldn’t let us go up the stairs, they said the vibrations would ruin it.
The kids got to choose something from the gift shop and the girls were very happy about that.
