Devil’s Churn

Our last stop before saying goodbye to T and family was at Devil’s Churn. It was a favorite spot that Handsome Husband and I found on our anniversary trip and we wanted to share it. We went down the path to the rocky shore.

I took this picture right before a big wave crashed up, I wish kept shooting. You can just see the beginnings of it by their feet. It looked like they were about to get totally soaked, but the distance was deceptive and they were perfectly dry. They weren’t near the edge at all. But I was yelling for them to look out.

The water sluices up the crevice and makes a cool sound.

It was so fun having D and T visit. They brought a wonderful spirit with them. We can’t wait to go visit them someday in the Bahamas!
